AR Series

The WDM AR series guide roll system is the key to successful angle bending. WDM machines have guide roll adjustment systems that allow the user to adjust the rolls in all ways necessary to obtain good work pieces. The small/economy machines have manual adjustments via acme screws and handwheel/worm gear arrangements. Machines 4x4 and larger have 6 way power guide rolls for optimal performance. The AR series is capable of rolling angle, flat bar, square bar, tee, round bar, pipe, tubing, channel, and I-beam.

Positioning

The rollers on the AR series can be configured to bend in a vertical or horizontal position.

Beta 3

The Beta 3 comes standard with the AR-22, AR-23, and AR-31 at no charge. The Beta 3 pendant control has pushbuttons for roll adjustment and roll rotation. It also comes with 2 - LCD digital readouts to indicate roll postition.

Pre-AR Semi-Automatic

The Pre AR semi-automatic free standing rolling console provides digital readouts and 2 presets for each axis (near & far roll). Also included is length position readout and 2 presets for the roll rotation. All machine functions are controlled via joysticks or push buttons on the control panel. Motor start/stop, speed control dial, and emergency stop is mounted in the panel for easy access. On model AR-41 and larger included on the panel is a push button to control the 6 way power guide rolls. The controls are housed in a heavy duty NEMA 12 enclosure with stainless steel hand rail. This popular control provides just enough automation to greatly speed through put performance, and accuracy. It is easily programmed and can be used as standard or preset type control. In many cases this control increases roll performance 500% or more and is usually all the automation that is required. This control is recommended for part batch sizes from 3 to 100+ pieces

Dies/Guide Rolls

Hardened and ground universal rolls/dies are telescoping to allow for optimum adjustments with main cap screw. These rolls can be used to roll angles leg in/out, tees leg in/out, flat bars on flat and on edge, square bars, and small rounds.

AR-520

The AR-520 comes standard with the AR-41 and larger machines at no charge. The AR-520 pendant control features heavy duty electric toggle switches for all power and speed functions on bending and guide rolls. 2-LCD digital displays show roll position.

Pre GR-AR Semi-Automatic

The Pre/GR-AR semi- automatic free standing rolling console (model AR-41 and larger) provides digital readouts and 2 presets for each near and far roll. Also included is length position readout and presets for roll rotation. There are 6 readouts showing the position of the 6 way guide rolls.
